Description

We can imagine a world where space travel was developed during Victorian times. It would be a parallel universe, a variant timeline that branched off our own. What if the timelines somehow crossed again, but mismatched? Perhaps time moves backwards in the space travel Victorian timeline. If the lines somehow crossed, the Victorian travelers might find themselves not in a Victorian age without space travel but in the last Ice Age. This image pictures a Victorian spacecraft recently crash-landed on an Ice Age glacier. The ill-fated travelers have left the spacecraft, perhaps looking for a sign of civilization or perhaps they have the means to communicate through the ether and have been rescued. The spacecraft, however, is destined to be buried in snow for most of history. The abandoned craft is the Victorian Spacecraft covered with Snarlygribbly snow. The Ice Age scene consists of the mountains and sky background from Easy Environments: Snowy Mountains and the Snowlands Pack ground plane for Worldbase XT Lushlands, both from DAZ, and a re-textured ground patch from Instant Meadow 2 - Winter 5. The falling snow is from the Weather, Light and Sky System and the mammoths from midnight stories. The scene was composed and rendered in Poser 11 Pro.
