Better watch out! I've seen that look on a Momma cow before, just before she decided to take me out! Luckily, I have survived such encounters, having farmed for 30 years. I don't miss the aspect of the overly protective mother, but I did get the friendship of a couple cows that I kept from their youth. I could go out into the pasture anytime and walk up to them. They always seemed glad to see me and loved getting their head, neck and backs scratched. They were a joy to my heart. But the wild eyed kind like in your photo, I tried to avoid at all costs. Thank you! And I'm always very careful. These are our heifer pairs, there's several of our cows I will not photo after their calves hit the ground because I value my life way too much😆 I do always leave the truck door open since I've had some unfortunate encounters!
