More goofing around in DS...
I'm still amazed at the changes this program has gone through!
I decided to bring out some of the "old gals" and see if I could update them to look a bit more "modern". With the help of a skin shader preset I found on another site, I was able to bring this Victoria (that's V1... 😲) character "Aliya" from Handspan Studios up to par with some of the more recent ladies. It's not as detailed of course, but I thought she looked pretty dang good for an "old lady"! 😆 Oh, and there's no retouching on this render at all, except for the border, and size of the image.
And the hair- that's by Samsil on their site (they have some pretty awesome ones on here too!) Awesome vendor- super helpful, and expedient about it too! Do check them out if you haven't already! (I was clued in by another artist here...thanks are in order! 😊)

I started with Victoria 2, who looked the same as V1 but had more morphs. She was the first piece of Poser content I paid for apart from that which shipped with the program. I still find her useful on occasions. This effort proves that she can stand alongside more recent efforts with a bit of tweaking, so it was great to see it.

Thanks! I had fun with it! 😊 I agree- we tend towards that which is "new and shiny" (hey, I'm guilty!) But sometimes the older stuff is just as useful- and can even be improved upon with that new stuff! I know I've spent boatloads of money on content- I want to be able to still use it! 😉 (probably the main reason I took a break from 3D for awhile- couldn't keep up with all the new versions of this and that! 😏)
