Actually....I'm not sure what mistakes you are referring to! I like this picture a lot, especially putting the wavy sand material under the water.

I like the underwater layer of sand you used to emphasize the water's visibility factor. I would suggest using a different texture for the sand below the palm trees or maybe make the scale smaller; it just looks out of place.
