Description

This fine model is created by Birdman over at sharecg.com. He did a marvelous job with it I think! I tweaked it just a little in blender to smooth some of the rough edges and recalculated the normals to get the right colors to show. I also added tread to the tires but other than its all Birdman's baby! The Bugatti Type 41, better known as the Royale, is a large luxury car built from 1927 to 1933 with a 4.3 m (169.3 in) wheelbase and 6.4 m (21 ft) overall length. It weighs approximately 3,175 kg (7,000 lb) and uses a 12.763 litre (778 cu in) straight-eight engine. For comparison, against the Rolls-Royce Phantom VII (produced from 2003 onward), the Royale is about 20% longer, and more than 25% heavier. This makes the Royale one of the largest cars in the world. And of course there's the famous radiator cap, featuring an elephant sculpture Ettore's brother, the artist Rembrandt Bugatti, created. The elephant radiator cap has become synonymous with the Royale. Thank you for taking a peek! Your support is greatly appreciated!

It would be unfortunate if this elephant crushed such a marvel of the automobile. Very nice work.

You have done a great job with one of Birdman's cars in this great scene! I like that you put your own elephant in, posed like the one on the cars grille! I am a fan of his creations, as he chooses cars that are unique and often not well known to the general public! That is a large displacement engine in this vehicle...it must have had some awesome power! Excellent work! :-)
