Nicely done. Euryale and Stheno are both frequently forgotten , and even in the classical myths barely get a look-in outside the story of their more well known sibling. I always found the gorgons tragic figures; the beautiful maiden Medusa gets raped by Poseidon, and rather than Poseidon getting chastised, Medusa and her sisters are transformed into monsters by Athena...

I don't remember much about Euryale, but yes, she's associated with Medusa somehow. Maybe a sister, I don't remember. Your portrait of her is chock full of myth and power. Love the luminous green scales on her body, and the amazing shields, and the primal face. She stands majestically. The background is desaturated of colors so it lets her stand out...and it also makes the background spooky and mysterious. (With a ghostly knight back there---he looks like a knight who died of the Plague and wanders the night, night after night...) Love the snake beside her too---in bright yellow-greens. A primal powerful portrait, Steve.
