Description

Dear Mark, This is the apo that I've chosen for your birthday. Actually because I had to think of a sunrise, a new orange sunrise, one worn on clouds. Imagine you are on the way as that orange sunrise, en route you are often tired, sometimes even exhausted. Then there will always be this beautiful blue cloud to rest. The cloud is strong and will never lose its power, it will always support you if needed. Today I'm thinking of J.S.Bach, more often I think of you Mark, and how things are with you. Therefore, thank you for your last colourful mix of splendid photo's with your typical touch, as well as your humor. I first thought, I place a photo of a robin for you, giggle. Now yes, it has become a fractal, but I also send you sustain a truck with peace, lots of good courage and hope in your heart and soul. Happy Birthday, Mark, with love Jacomina.

thank you so much, Jacomina, your art is beautiful, as always. And thank you for remembering my birthday, and for your (always) beautiful words. I still am amazed that I share a birthday with JS Bach, and your fractal feels like one of his chorale preludes----it has that slow, emerging feeling...or like a slow river passing by, and revealing many gems inside...(I'm thinking of the organ chorale preludes, which you and Karel know intimately...I played them on the piano, unfortunately, but I adored them all the same...some of my best hours at the piano were playing those pieces...)

The image feels like light emerging out of a deep journey. And light dawns like your orange sunrise. Thank you for your always caring feelings, and how you put them into art. I'm tired (I'm a naaktslak, a very slow schildpad), but I'm healthy overall. I greatly appreciate your wishes. I'll comment on more of your images in the coming week or two, but for now, thank you so much. And I hope you are well, and I wish you a blessed and beautiful easter and spring.
