Description
This was a multiple experiment exercise.
The first was in creating a TerraDome "valley" that would seamless integrate with a UltraScenery river terrain.
The second was taking a screen capture of the two models (UltraScenery / TerraDome) from above to get a good mask for where the two terrains intersected. Then using that mask to repopulate the UltraScenery model with trees that didn't intersect on the TerraDome terrain.
Next was importing one of the oldest Daz models I own; Yanta ar' Laurelin Bridge (which isn't in the store anymore) and getting it to work with Iray.
Lastly, taking the EXR canvas file and "developing" it multiple times to create different lighting layers to recreate an HDR image. That layering was also used with Ron's Lights and Shadows brushes in eraser function to allow the god rays to appear.
The figure came out a little dark, which is unfortunate as she was a pain to pose. The bridge rails are much lower than I anticipated. i13's rail poses were a good starting point to get the general dynamic right, but took a lot of tweaking to get her leaning forward to the more extreme height needed.

Very cool work, love the detail and the reflections in the water. It looks very peaceful!

Thank you! The double meaning of "reflection" after seeing the water in the final render led to the title. Otherwise I was at a loss for what to call it. :)
