Description
A racing story that should be made into a film ... I just watched a short clip of the incident that took out Dick Johnson whilst leading the race at Bathurst back in 1980 and Wow! what a amazing turn of events that day had, I need to research more about the events that happened on that day and in the following days, I know that the rock in the incident is in a glass display case and is very famous now, But I do not know if the person or persons that threw the rock onto the track have ever been caught, To see the tv footage was shocking and could have been a lot worse for all involved, motor racing is dangerous and those that compete accept a certain amount of risk but what happened on that day was just so unexpected and very, very sad, thank for looking love Kiiko.
ps I get my models from Hum3D, turbo-squid and CG-Traders but only when it is my Birthday or Christmas because they can be quiet expensive, the cheapest ones are around $50 US or $75 AUD and most have been $90 US or $130 AUD, I just use the object files in Carrara to strip the parts I need or to create more shader zones so I can get a more realistic detailed model, Some DUF and Poser files are becoming available but it seems they are not as popular a format in the 3D modelling community, file conversions can be available but you lose all rigging and materials from other programs, So I look for obj files with jpg textures and then spend hours in Carrara, I just buy the models for the body really and make or modify the rest to suit my needs, you can use the models in Poser but just as a obj so doors will not open and wheels do not move, hope this answers some of the questions I have been asked and is helpful to you, I am still learning each day and others might have more helpful advice to share also.
