Description
It is usually thought that those people who create strategies to achieve their goals are strong and successful. In reality, those who believe they know how to manage strategies are almost always defeated.

Just stellar work! I'm so lucky, you are back and posting your art, because there is nobody else around with that much of genius, phantasy and ideas like you.

Another of your mind-expanding and mind-bending images, Giuliano. I love it. Here are your chess pieces again---only, this time, they're piled into a massive 'ganglia'. They seem to warn, like oracles, against counting on too much 'order' in life (too many strategies), because, as you say, such strategies will only collapse into defeat. (What's that old expression? The gods only laugh when humans make 'plans'...you can never count on plans, they say, the universe is too vast...)
I love your decayed textures. You have, once again, that mix of rusted tarnished skin with the innards of a robot---with wires and grids and even motherboards...And that arm seems to come from a sunken body---that island looks like a sunken body. And, in the distance? floating chess pieces, bobbing in the mire, floating away forever. A powerful vision. And the big mound of chess pieces seem destined to accomplish nothing: It's too unwieldy and clumsy and old to accomplish anything. And anyway, so many of our plans grow old and decayed, like this pile of chess pieces: I.e., it's huge, it's formidable, it works only part of the time, and the rest of it gets old and rusted and "in the way"...it's an obstruction, in other words, the kind of pile that forces one to cry: "When are you going to get rid of this thing???" Brilliant as always. Powerful and funny all at once.

Indeed - I can think of one person that those "strategies" fell flat for rather recently.

Interesting if slightly macabre render. Chess can be fun, but this poor gentleman apparently let it all go to his head. :)
