Vicki, playing Wing Attack, has only a short while to decide whom to pass the ball to. With her Goal Shooter (Claire) covered by two of the opposing team's defenders (Holly as Goal Defence, Joelle as Goal Keeper) and her Goal Attacker nowhere to be seen in the shooting circle, she needs another option. Her Centre (Xiulan) is free and unmarked but the poor girl is so quiet throughout the rest of the school day that other pupils tend to overlook her. And there she is in a good place to receive the ball and give her team's attack force time to reform into a stronger position! Miss Bryson, meanwhile, watches all of these games to scout for more players to join the official school team.
