Description
Battleship Yamato at sunrise on April 7, 1945, moving in a southerly direction towards Okinawa. She would never make it - she would come under heavy air attack later that morning and sink several hours after that.

Did you know that the Japanese only had enough fuel for a one way mission. In other words, a suicide mission. with not enough fuel to return back to port, even if they won the fight.
