Description
A terrain from Gritstone Hills (available at Daz 3D) rendered with a modified Specular Method: The terrain has fully white Specular with Halo at maximum. The Specularity comes from the WhiteSphereB7 HDRI, the dark part by negative Sun Specularity. The clouds in the sky are Bryce Cumulus with a self made texture (SN means Specular Negative). A hill landscape as some sort of drawing.

Bryce 7 for a comic cartoon outcome ? I need Photoshop prepostwork for this sort of drawn effect in Bryce 5 . I know Hans what you are getting at : to lure me to a higher Bryce version lol Well everyone choose his tools to get somewhere .. Cleverly done but haven,t the foggiest idea how ..you did it . Just ,,tinkering,, right? !! Yeah RIGHT !

No, it can be done in Bryce 5 as well, just tested it, though limited because Diffusion and Specularity for the sun cannot be adjusted, neither for radials. But in the Mat Lab Specular can be set to 100 and Halo to 255 white and you get the drawing effect quite nicely on a terrain.

This splendid image puts me in mind of Bora Bora or the Hindu Kush. Really well done.
