Description
I went and purchased a Sony wireless stereo headset today and managed to get it $20 cheaper by price match. one wears it around the neck and the ear pieces can not fall off because they are on cables to the neck worn microphone. I think I am going to enjoy using them without worry about losing.
this morning after walking, I went to the Oriental store, the store where I bought the brand that caused me trouble. then to Sam's. I tried to go to Walmart, but the parking lot was full from people buying food for today's Good Friday parties probably with no masks of course.
all seniors in the Philippines can go where they want now after a long lock down " as long as their parents are with them"!!!
really it was no joke about when they were restricted from leaving their homes with no way to purchase food

That's a beautiful photo, Richard! I envy you for having a nearby Oriental store where you live. Over here, the driving is about 3 hours one way just to get to the nearest Asian store. I miss shopping there. So have you learned cooking pinoy food as well? I'm thinking about making some maja blanca as I have coconut milk in my pantry. I made kuchinta a few months ago and it's delicious! It's been a while since I had this. Happy Easter!

the one I go to is about 12 to 13 miles from where I live. I usually take another way to avoid heavy semi-trailers traffic trying to get on the main street going there. I bought some mung bean pastries/ Filipino Ube bread also and both were so fresh. I will take a picture of one tomorrow. I usually only eat one per day, but being so fresh I ate 2 . no, I have not learned much about the preparation of Pinoy food, but I love eating it. My relatives that lives in Metro Manila always takes me to the best restaurants. I would like to visit again, but between covid19 and the huge bear trying to claim other countries islands I doubt if I will go. I miss seeing my nieces/nephews also

The lovely white against that dark blue sky is beautiful. Well done.

Very beautiful, unfortunately the ones near us are shedding all their blooms owing to the rain, but as Mori Ogai the poet said, you should always view cherry blossoms against a grey cloudy sky...
