When I was a little girl, I could see Dragons. That's how I chose my name here at Renderosity. (Sometimes I can still see them.)
I have been an artist and a writer all my life - and have worked in acrylic on canvas as well as watercolor. I was best known for my watercolors of dream creatures - especially for my Dream Birds. Lots of my art and writing has been found in dreams.
In May of 2000, I did my first 3D picture on the computer. And I was hooked.
My Underground Shaman series - takes off where my 2D work left off. The faces of animals, human, and not-so-human always fascinate me and I like to use them as stylized motifs to create mandalas full of textures, patterns, colors and emotions.
With the internet, I discovered, that while some people make art to look at, I like to make art that looks at YOU! :-)
The Underground Shamans are Wise Ones from many worlds, realms, and dimensions. In mid-2002 the Dragon Fae also began appearing to humans - they are an interesting race, well-traveled, and good talkers.
My computer and software are now ancient, but they and my imagination are still working at the moment - more or less (as of August 2021)

I've studied your words and image since you posted, and you state it all beautifully. I also looked at the album you told us about, and all the images and words are very inspiring. This woman has a tranquil stare, and all the crystals behind her suggest she's in a realm of crystalline forms w/ all kinds of refracted light...and I wonder if those forms and lights aren't morphing all the time, always in motion. I love the reds of the flower and bird, they burst out at us as do the quiet purples and blues. Your olive-gray background suggests peacefulness. And as for your words, what is the saying? the guide will appear when one is ready? I know you write about paths, but I can't help but think that the path is the guide (in your words), and if we're listening closely enough, it will already have the 'way' for us. Bear with me, another tale:
A mystic was walking in ancient Jerusalem, when he met a man who looked like the 'messiah'. He said, "sir: Forgive me, but there's so much suffering inside our city: When will you come inside?"
The messiah said, "today".
The traveler left, and wept.
For weeks he wandered aimlessly. He couldn't speak. Then his teacher saw him, said, "my god: what's the matter?"
The man said: "I met the messiah, and he mocked us."
"How so?"
"He said he would come to us 'today': But he never moved."
The teacher said: "He wasn't wrong. Do you see? It all depends on what you mean by 'today'..."
It's an old rabbinical tale, and it's interpreted thus: Some say it's "today" because, when you're ready, the path will come. It's here 'today'.
But the deeper interpretation is: The messiah's not a person, but state of mind. It's is in you 'today'. It's been in you from the beginning. Thus the stranger says, "today". He wasn't lying...
Those eyes (in your guide) are soft and penetrating. Beautifully done, Rose.
