Description
In the Spring of 1944, the Allies began their invasion of France, which would eventually liberate Europe from the grips of an evil power, but not without much death and destruction. The war was fought in many small towns and villages, much like this one, utterly destroyed in dislodging the enemy. The hundreds of thousands who fought for our freedom paid the ultimate price.
I've been meaning to share this work for a while. Hope you like it.

Excellent scene and great tribute to all those who served.

Excellent image, the black and white gives it an old feel. Might also look cool with some muted colors and smoke filled sky... ;)

A fine image and a touching tribute to those who remained where they fought.

Une superbe création en n&b qui rappelle des temps horribles dont on aimerait être certain qu'ils n’existeront plus mais les hommes étant ce qu'ils sont...
