It's depressing and distressing, in a few days I'm going to celebrate my second birthday confined, it's the only day of the year we go to the restaurant for lack of money, the morale is not there at all.

yes, the lockdown (Sperre? Abriegelung?) has brought much destruction to businesses, and to our personal lives too. Your photo captures that perfectly. But also, your photo is beautiful as art: Your photo has beautiful shadows, and blacks, and grays, and whites. It's very geometric, like an abstract design. You did great postwork on this, Priska. It makes de-humanization very clear. Ie. the photo captures a cold feeling (coldness, emptiness) masterfully. You are so at-home with black and white (heimisch sein in...sich heimisch fühlen in...). Very sensitive work.
