Description

Everyone in life has had moments when everything seemed to go wrong, a sense of collapsing without leaving hope. Almost always, magically suddenly you don't know where and how, a new opportunity comes from, a new beginning ... a new game to play.

you created beautiful light here---it's very apparent, full-size. The surfaces have beautiful light---both matte/opaque, and reflecting (the pawns have reflecting surfaces...so do the kings and knights...even the rooks have reflecting surfaces...I don't know the Italian words for these, but I assume you know the names in english...)

That big gangli (ganglia) is like the knotted, tangled mind who's lost hope. But the open space around it---with those floating chess pieces---suggests freedom and relief. In fact, the gangli of chess pieces has a beauty of its own...and it's floating above the water, so there's hope in it too. Again, you've created an image with tangles and defeat, with a great deal of hope all around it. And I love how you treated the chess pieces...
