Description
Strata Studio, 1996. This was one of the first really simple 3D environments I have done. I only have the shot at one angle, but in the room all the details are there, down to ceramic tile over everything, polished steel trays, a drain on the floor with ooze around it, and pre-rendered impossible object pictures hanging on corkboards around the room from a series I did in strata/photoshop. All of the textures and bumpmaps are my originals as well. I even had the flame and beaker with the brain in it animated with bubbles and brain-bobbing. I also modeled (on the tray) an exact duplicate of a surgical scalpel, a working pair of scissors, clamps, and a syringe with empty-space calculated CC marked on the barrel (using room size scale).
