Before she can leave the Professor's bunker and finish her trek to the settlement of Buoy, Nevv is stopped by Index, the Professor's Autonomous Sentient Servant. Index informs her that the Professor has asked the AI to accompany her on her journey to safely deliver the Artifact to the Order's monastery. Nevv balks at the request. Carrying a heavy machine on her bike will slow her down. But, Index is insistent and it has a rather unorthodox solution...
