Description

Lilja Darkstar hopped into the throne-like chair; the only place a lady might be seated in the time lab. She found the seat so large her feet remained clear of the ground upon being seated. "If Uncle Ebenezer designed this for himself he must have been an unusually large person. I remember him as such but I was no more than a wee sprite last I was in his presence years ago." " 'Avv a care, yer ladyship!" Fat Bob grated in alarm. "Them leevers controls this place. I suspects a false move could blow us all ter atoms!" "I'll not meddle with something I don't understand, Bob!" Lilja responded reproachfully. "Where are my uncle's design notes and journals?" "Ehm, ehm, that'd prolly be ter liberry, I expects, yer ladyship," the clank replied. "Ehm, er mebbe 'is personal laboratory? I confess to not bein' ever apprised of such. 'Tis above me station." Lilja sighed. "Alright, then. Let us continue my tour of the manufactory and estate." She eyed the Guardian. "It never speaks?" "Not what I've 'eard, yer ladyship," Fat Bob replied. "Foller me." Molly's art notes: Set up and rendered with Poser 12.0.484 using the Superfly Cycles 2 rendering engine. The mesh is La Femme with the new Lilja texture by Tempesta3D. The hair is Matuk by Afrodite-Ohki. The costume is Dark Aurora by RPublishing and Ravenhair. The setting is the Steampunk Time lab by Deadhead. The clanks are the Guardian by Jonnte and Fat Bob by Simon 3D. Thank you, my dear. I always appreciate a comment! I'm glad you took a moment to look at it in full size. The Time Lab is an older mesh but with a bit of tweaking of materials it hold up well.

Cool steampunk scene! Fat Bob's expression and pose go nicely with his dialogue!

Heh. Yes, I like the Fat Bob figure and am enjoying creating a character with it. He's just this side of being a bit too futuristic to work for Steampunk but his dumpy, imperfect look was just what I wanted for the Foreman of Darkstar Engineering and Experimental Design, Ltd. It's funny, he was pretty easy to pose. Lilja is the one that gave me fits in setting up this picture.
