Oups!

Good morning, Ute`! First, I pray and hope that this lightning gets grounded quickly and that you get back on the road to recovery. This was a shocking development, to say the least. Second, this is fabulous art, almost electrifying in the humor displayed. And all this poor lady wanted, was to get a cup of sugar from the gentleman down the street.
Wonderful work, Ute`!

Oh dear, I guess she didn't pay attention to the Ben Franklin lessons on how not to use umbrellas around electric events. This is a fun and funny and very colorful render. The poor thing needs a new umbrella and a new haircut, now.
I'm sorry your arm is giving you trouble. I hope you are pain free, soon!

"When it rains it pours!" It's just a saying I grew up hearing all my life! Basically it means... just when you think things are bad they get worse! This is just my small bit at humor to go along with your wonderful art today! I sincerely hope you get well on your way to a great recovery and become free from pain! You have my best wishes Ute! :-)

Awesome image! Sorry that you are in a different kind of pain. Sounds like a severe strain or pulled something. Hope it goes away soon, and keep an eye on it. Make sure you don't lose sensation or it goes numb, could be sign of something more serious like a blood flow or nerve issue. Keep your spirits up as much as you can. Go rest and take some time to heal.

Oh no! I hope your arm recovers faster than this poor person--I am sure they thought the umbrella made sense in the rain! (I've read that lighting likes cell phones too :o )

Ouch! A painful situation for both you and your girl here! Great job on this, Ute!
Don't worry about comments, hon - just rest and let yourself heal.

Good advice, but if you don't do anything or visit here for a week, you'll be totally forgotten in 1 week! I'll get a cortisone injection in my upper arm tomorrow, I'll be fine again!! 😊👌 I'm a post-war product and they're not that squeamish!

Superb art work as always!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I can relate to your pain! I developed some severe pain in my right knee a few weeks ago that came out of nowhere. I am going to blame it on the pfizer vaccine since that is about the only variable in my life that could account for it! LOL! But at least I do have both vaccines as does my wife! I pray you pain goes away and doesn't bother you again! A very fun if somewhat frazzled image! Excellent work!

I am sorry to hear of the set back. I will ask of the Great Spirits that they make this a very temporary and -not to painful - of a dilemma. A lovely and well done render.

Yes, I read about your arm pain, and your other struggles, and I'm sorry you have to live with so many "intrusions". It's part of getting older, but you've had enough intrusions for 20 people. I hope things get better for you, at last.
This image captured the feeling of "lightning": Maybe this is how you felt when the pain hit. You did a great job with the lightning---it's all over the image. And with the woman: She's in shock, and her umbrella is burnt! That's strong lightning! You have lots of wires and open sockets---this isn't a safe place to walk...and you have beautiful purples and blues and reds, etc. With smoke. I would suggest that this woman get inside quickly...Terrific image of a woman being struck by lightning. If this is how you felt, you have my sympathies, Ute...

Made this one just for fun, my arm is now OK after the second cortison injection (had a painful infection)!
