Lieutenant Commander Isabella Celestina Emilia Agular, Chief Engineer aboard the USS T’Pau, Izzy to close friends. After finishing up a stellar tour on Deep Space Nine, Izzy was promoted; meritoriously, from Lieutenant to Lieutenant Commander and assigned as Chief Engineer aboard the newly refitted USS T’Pau. Every instructor has that one special student, for Chief Miles O’Brien dean of the engineering department at Star Fleet Academy, Izzy was that student. Not since Captain Nog, the first Ferengi to join Star Fleet excelled in his primary engineering instructions on DS9 before even taking the entrance exam, had anyone exemplified the standards Chief O’Brien set for his students or Star Fleet personal who worked under him. Like Lieutenant T’Roinn, Izzy it was apparent after knowing her for only short time, she too was on the fast track to command. Graduating top in her class at the academy, meant receiving the choice of any duty assignment she wanted; if available. At the recommendation of the Chief, and to the dismay of her fellow classmates, Izzy chose Deep Space Nine as her first duty assignment. Now she’s the Chief and it’s time for some schooling.
