Description

Not far from where I live, there exists an old Olive orchard. From there, birds have dropped seeds here and there. I have two of those serendipitious young Olive trees. I don't know if Mockingbirds eat olives, but they would perch in the trees here. The Mockingbird is one of my favorite birds, I enjoy the variety and creativeness of the bird's song, and, because at night, when the bird sings its wide repertoire, darkness seems peaceful. I don't mind if one 'dives' at me in Spring, which really has only happened maybe twice in my lifetime, because I know they are protecting their nest. Sadly, for some reason, the Mockingbirds have vanished from my neighborhood. Still have blue jays, so I don't know why. Anyway, I am so pleased Renderosity has welcomed Ken Gilliland and his work. Posed and rendered in DAZ studio.
