Description
A bit of a take on.
Back in 39 my Father done his bit.. join the army and went to save the world.. Took the Kings Coin... he was told this is not a real war it will only take a few weeks we will beat them
by Christmas
Now he did not make it all that clear which Christmas.... Take the time to watch Blackadder the last one of the Go Forth run in is based in the WW1 they words then was We will beat them and be have'ng tea then... that was 1914 then.... it was up and over in to the line of fire of Machine Guns and Gas As they said in a song " there not be many coming back" many off those that came home would never be the same again
May there never a time when our young men and woman tell there Mums " Be back by Christmas

Very many thanks for the comment... Yes we as humans have had a war or more all the time from we 1st took the time to look round the bend in the path way... I do not think that we will stop till we are no more then are dust will fight with the wind for ever more
