Description
The third preview image of a new version of my Table of Five series. Galen is a sorcerer, an arcane spellcaster with the innate ability to understand and use magic, who was raised on a small farmstead outside Silverymoon but was sent to the Lady's College to learn how to control his gift after he nearly burned down his family's home by accident.
This version of the Table of Five series is more of a reinvention then a revisiting... several of the characters, including Galen, are significantly different than previous versions. In previous versions of this series Galen was a wizard, an arcane magic-user who learned to use magic from years of study and was one of the more serious characters in the group. This time around he will be more free-wheeling and impulsive, with less respect for the awesome power he can wield... which will of course lead to trouble.

Thanks again for all your kind comments! Yeah... That tends to be the difference between sorcerers and wizards... Since they have to work harder and study for years, wizards tend to be more serious, while sorcerers have a natural ability to use magic so they tend to be more casual about it.

Thanks again for all your kind comments! I'm trying to stay true to the magic system in 3rd edition D&D, so it made more sense to for Galen to be a sorcerer, who have a natural ability to use magic, than a wizard, who learns to use magic through years of study. Because he didn't really have to work to get his power he won't be a serious or respectful of it... which will of course lead to no end of trouble!
