And once again, the urge to paint outweighed the urge to do renders. Way back in the Paleolithic, when Poser 1.0 came out, they marketed it as a tool for traditional artists to use to create references, rather than creating renders as a final product. So I bought it and started using it right away, and have for the next 11 million years (well, Wikipedia says 26 years, but I think I'm closer) used it and DAZ for a painting and drawing reference, even when I'm also doing renders all the time.
