I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

Outstanding! She really lovely. I understand your dilemma... How much detail is too much and when do you sacrifice details to keep the story moving? When I started posting integrated narratives with my images I made the choice to limit each narrative to one page in Word so they wouldn't become so long that no one would read them. Personally I'd say that your doing just fine... There are times when a story depends on a level of detail that can't be truncated.

She is sooo stunning! All the other women there will feel high levels of envy.

She's beautiful and the background is a nice compliment to her pose and lovely dress.

Your image is stunning--beautiful colors and reflections and the little gal you placed into the image looks right at home. As for how much detail for your T.N.A.: keep doing what you've been doing--I am one who like detail :)

She is a spectacular character and this is a most superbly fine render! Great job creating this one, Rod! Many fine praises from me!

I'm at the same place, just doing in-between stuff. And no, you can't really go into too much detail, unless you do a whole backstory thing, but even then, there are ways to do it that are interesting. Many of images only took a few minutes, but then, the visual art was never important to me, it's always about the story.

This image looks amazing! The lighting, the reflections, the red and purple colors and the beautiful girl make this render a standout! I think your story and the way you write it is impeccable and well done! You are doing a great job...keep going Rod! Excellent work! :-)

I do hate the wait. But it's always worth it when the latest instalment arrives.

Very well done scene and lovely posing!!!

Fantastic work, and no, I really don't think you're making a mistake with the pacing of your story. You're putting in the detail when it's important.

As I mentioned a couple pages ago, I can't wait to see how all this detail blends in to the coming story.

what a beautiful image, Rod...it could be an ice rink, but it could also be just a walkway frozen over by winter...what's so striking about it is that it's not exactly one or the other, but rather a creative vision of a model on an icy surface, it's actually very avant garde and creative, and the reflections are beautiful (from what looks a little like the Sydney Australia opera house), and arawen standing out in that striking purple gown against all that red, with beautiful lights in the background. Here I go with composition again, just warning you: You've placed her in beautiful line with the meeting of the two sections of that huge palladium back there, her left elbow greets one billow of the bldg, her right elbow lines-up with the other, her left breast is in line with one side, and her gown flows with the reflections behind her---you get the point! This seems like intuitive stuff, the stuff artists do intuitively because they've been doing it for years (and you have, as a 3D artist, a photographer and as a drawing/painting artist). (Btw, didn't you say, in Wolfenshire's gallery, that you might do a charcoal drawing? Dude...I'm not pushing, cause you got enough to do---but dude...a charcoal drawing from Rod? Oh yeah. You haven't posted 2D in a long time...no pressure though, you got a lot on your plate...)
This has real sweep, and Ar is almost positioned like a Flamenco dancer! (OPA!!! OLE!!!) (I played a little flamenco guitar---you need a backup musician here??? I suck, but hey, maybe she'll humor me.) Great outfit as always, and I love the leaf lace---if that's what it is---flowing down her front. Beautiful piece---and if this is one of your "in between pieces," man, give warning when you do something that isn't...love this piece.
