Here comes the war!
Many soldiers who committed war crimes subsequently invoked a command emergency (in German, "Befehlsnotstand") to excuse their actions....

This subject is of such interest to me. My father was stationed in Mainz right after the war. The German people we met were so nice. I remember playing with the kids. Nobody blamed the ordinary German people and they didn't seem to blame us.
This is so well done. It's so different, too. Love the lighting and the smoke effect. Kudos.

Thank you so much for your comment...
My grandfather was a German soldier on the Eastern Front, but he told very little about his "experiences". The only thing he always emphasized was that he learned to ski in Norway. My brother-in-law's father, on the other hand, was a Russian prisoner of war and escaped from there - across Russia, the Ukraine and through Poland, where he was hidden by a peasant family. The experiences he had during the war kept catching up with him and startling him out of sleep until his death a few years ago.

Danke schön! Postwork habe ich hinterher nur für ein paar Farbanpassungen und das Bildrauschen verwendet, der Rest kommt so aus DAZ...
