Description
"No need for strong language, Robert," the slender clank admonished. "Who is this you've brought to visit?"
"Ehm, ehm, she be teh new Gov'nor, Weasel!" Fat Bob replied. "She asked fer teh grand tour and more's teh pity that'd include teh like's o' you."
Weasel nodded. "I see. Well, good day, Madame. Is there anything you desire from my crew or myself?"
"I thought the only clank that Uncle had blessed with speech was Fat Bob," Lilja Darkstar replied. "I can see I'm mistaken. Your speech capacity is quite refined in comparison." She immediately regretted the implied slight of her tour guide's speech capability.
"I may not be slick spoken like ter Weasel, yer ladyship but I'm much teh more reliable clank for certain!" Fat Bob hotly injected.
Wishing to defuse the situation, Lilja quickly changed the subject. "I assume you clanks maintain the Aereo Harbour and the craft moored and stored here?"
"Madame is most insightful," Weasel replied. "My mute colleagues include Gorilla who is obviously better and more mobile than a crane and Frick and Frack who are good for fine work and actually have the power of flight by way of the aeroscrews affixed to their bodies." The clanks produced various mechanical sounds that Weasel interpreted. "They're eager for work, Madame."
Lilja turned to Fat Bob. "Not one human. All clanks. Where are these mechanical workers fabricated and maintained, Bob?"
"Ehm, ehm, that'd be at the servo-clank manufactory and shop, yer ladyship. We kin visit as you please." Fat Bob replied.
"Please," Lilja said.
Molly's art notes: Set up and rendered with Poser 12.0.500 using the Superfly Cycles 2 rendering engine. The mesh is La Femme with the new Lilja texture by Tempesta3D. The hair is Matuk by Afrodite-Ohki. The costume is Dark Aurora by RPublishing and Ravenhair. The setting is partly the Terradome 2 with some of Flink's Instant Forest and a lot of other bits and bobs. The clanks are the Guardian, Weasel, Crab Bot and Gorilla by Jonnte and Fat Bob by Simon 3D. The steam carriage is by Adh3d.

Poor Fat Bob -- now he's going to start trying to talk all proper 'an stuff! Or maybe not, as he seems to know his own worth! That Gorilla robot really does look more useful than a crane!

Heh. I take all the credit and blame for the character of Fat Bob. He's been my runtime forever and finally he's taking an important role in a series of piccies and a little story. Gorilla is wonderful and I have some ideas about how he might be used further on if I can only keep focused on this series of pictures and the story it tells. Sometimes I have the attention span of a..... >>SQUIRREL< ...now what was I saying?😁
