The Skaldmaer
I am a Skaldmaer, or shieldmaiden. In the days of yore, when our forefathers first ventured to the stars, shieldmaidens stood as a bulwark against the raids of warring clans. But now, we are the last line of defense against the Myrkalfar. Like the Norse Shield Wall of old, it is the strength of our spirit, the energy in our steel, and the sacred duty of our life, that keeps the clan from falling to the machines.
