What a wonderful surprise: This simple stone is---suddenly---home to a whole colony of tiny growths: The barnacles are just fascinating---a whole tiny city of creatures living on the side of a rock. (And in close quarters. They must really like each other!) And the stuff around the rock is wonderfully diverse: stems, stones, sand, shells, etc. The many tiny enclaves of life on a beach...but that rock with barnacles completes the photo. Very sweet work, Christian. Wonderful as always.
