Description

I made the girl and clothes up in Daz and then exported them as .obj files and all into a new program I got on sale on Steam for $3.99 (normal price $10). It's called Flowscape. It's for making little outdoor scenes with land and trees and snow and houses and all that. So the flowers/ground/trees/sunlight/sky were all generated in that program, which is ridiculously easy to use and fun to play with. Then I just took a screen shot right out of the Flowscape program. I have a personal grudge against any company that moves their programs off of the "buy the cd and own it forever" model and onto the "you have to rent the program from us on a monthly basis" model. I can't stand that. Which is why I no longer use VUE for outdoors scenes. I'm not paying a monthly fee for a program I have on old version of. Pisses me off. Grrr! So I'll use this Flowscape cheapy program instead. And honestly, it's good for all I needed anyway. You paint down trees and flowers and houses and all the little assets it comes with. Even has animals you can plop down. And they're animated, just in case you want to watch them move around a little. Easy as sin.

And it looks...astonishingly nice! The sky looks so natural and the flowers are fun too--I think your POV helps sell it. And you cannot beat that price. I liked Vue but it was so crashy on my Windows machine, the plants were expensive, and I found it was hard to create scenes outside of the preset values. So this was a great switch IMO. Looking forward to seeing more of your experiments with it!

Thank you so much! Ugh, I wish you switched to DAZ like I did in the last year. You were my one and only tester when I made Poser poses so I could make sure it worked on other people's machines. I'm getting into Substance Painter for making materials now, and I'll need someone to test materials in DAZ for me once I'm up to speed. You're always my first choice! Hope you're doing well!
