May i give you an advice for improvement? You could use single water ripple objects and give them different sizes, same is for the splashes to make it more realistic. (maybe some free models are available for that, or make few torus ring groups in Poser) And one another thing from a photographer: If you "freeze" the splashes on a photo/picture, the rain has to be seen as single drops too.
