Description
Vincent is a song by Don McLean, which he wrote in 1971 as a homage to the painter Vincent van Gogh. The piece is also known by its first line of text, Starry Starry Night.

Beautiful scene, Michael...I do like how she stands out against the background. I also like that you've related your scene to the awesome song--the lyrics are so touching, "Starry Starry Night--Starry, starry night, Flaming flowers that brightly blaze, Swirling clouds in violet haze, Reflect in Vincent's eyes of china-blue"--poor, misunderstood Vincent, such a tortured soul and like so many great artists was only appreciated after his death.
