As for a house, have you ever considered finding a little plot of land and building your own house in a location more to your liking. That would certainly be my first preference - if I ever win the Powerball... I'd LOVE to be able to do just that. I've often joked about finding a hill in a nice green field, and drilling into the side of it, and making my home inside the hill like a Hobbit.. I'd lay it out just like Bag End.. That would be so awesome!

I must first congratulate you on the careful way in which this series has been done to date! You can virtually see a part of your creative genius in every scene you do! The realism behind these particular scenes is phenomenal!...as this is exactly what happens in every emergency room in the country. I have personally seen the joy in someone that finds out their loved one is going to be OK!

As far a your house goes...I can see the predicament you find yourself in...been there myself.:-( Best of luck in timing the sale and purchase of your next one, just right! In addition I thank you once again for helping Radar_rad-dude with the story he is working on...your TNA team is awesome! :-)

Excellent page !

First, you handled Marissa's story really well: Given the magic, you could've made it a painless recovery. But you kept it dire at the same time, making the magic all the more miraculous. I really like how you handled her condition from the start: We never knew what would happen to her, and when we finally find out, we know she had a genuine run-in with death...making her recovery a real revelation, and joy.

Ok. Now...This has to be the most "crowd scene" installment you've posted in a while, at least that I can remember! And boy you managed to do it with total clarity, light, hue and so on. I don't know this field (3D), but thinking of the work involved in arranging all these people with clarity, light, shadow not overtaking anything, etc, and still keeping the story upfront, makes me dizzy. It looks like a major job of management. I mean, directors work a long time on such scenes, to be sure they aren't just a jumble....and every one of your frames has total clarity, separation, etc. (And luminousness, you kind of "dapple" your light throughout, for a luminous feel.) You did this pretty quickly too---it just gives me dizzy spells to think of the effort this takes. Kudos. (5 packed crowd scenes with an insert, in under 2 months? Not too shabby!)

Of course one way you get variety is in the multiple costumes (all done w/ your usual panache) and hair styles and colors. But also w/ the changing angles of your interior: You swivel, pull back, etc. Maybe that's all intuitive, but it keeps the frames "different" and moving....For example, you moved back from 1 to 2, so we see more of the background, and that empty couch-chair (whatever it's called) is now being sat on by Layla. And your people-angles---the back of a head, hugging while others are seated behind, everyone crowding the doctor...and the final frame (which is the climax) is the most crowded of the bunch, incl Kinnie's very expressive reaction (maybe humble embarrassment?), crams everyone together for the news that their sister has survived. Really well done, Rod. Terrific work with a mass of people and interlocking storylines, hopes, etc. I imagine the next installment will be in a desert---5 full frames of sand---so you can clear out your head, lol...

Good luck with everything. I know it's a seller's market, but it's still hard work, and I hope it all works out for you guys. I get headaches cleaning out a closet: I can't imagine cleaning out a house...May the force shine on you throughout!
