I like the art style in which you did this dedication to a fantastic artist! He is certain to like it! Now this girl can most likely handle herself being in this part of town...a black belt in martial arts for sure! You need to do more in this style Ute...it looks awesome! :-)

I love when you combine cartoon imagery with graphic imagery (graphic design, that is) and with realism. It's a great combination. This has all 3. (And Rod is definitely grateful: You'll always get real gratitude from Rod---he's a super appreciative guy.)

I love how the woman is part photographic, yet heavily graphic. She's right out of a graphic novel. I love heer shading, and those anime-like eyes. Great torn stockings too.

Then you have the alley and the facades: You've treated the facades so they look like geometric studies. Great light on this alleyway: You got all kinds of strong lights and darks. It's a geometric carnival.

And the background gives us a big looming glass high rise, with golds and browns on the bottom. Terrific perspective, love the lines in this. And the woman is a great ultra-modern presence in this old grungy urban alley...This is pure urban america, and you did a great job---you always capture these backalley scenes like a 'native'. You must've lived in Greenwich Village in your last life...Great for Rod; and yes, his comments are terrific (as he is). Great dedi for Rod!
