Thought it was an appropriate time for an image like this.

I did this for an "how to cheat in Photoshop challenge". Although it is a 3D scene with characters etc, the walls on both sides of the passage are photos. I applied them to alpha planes and tweaked them with various maps to give texture and form to them. It's pretty cool to think the 3 alpha planes for the walls, run straight across the viewing screen. If they never had alphas applied to them, you would only be able to see a blank screen...lol.
