some places got 6 inches of rain today. I do not have a rain gauge, but we had a lot here. we had a tornado warning, but the clouds lost their punch luckily

Yes, alas, apparently there is also a lot of rain on the other side of the Atlantic. In France when the weather was good, we were confined and now that we can go out it rains all the time !!
