Following their adventure aboard the Alien Collectors Mother Saucer, Luke takes everyone back to earth. On the way back, Kanan is given several medical treatments to help him recover from the ill effects of the suspended animation chamber the Alien Collector placed him in. He is starting to act like his old self again, much to Boba's relief. Once they reach the outer limits of Earth's solar system, Luke engages his special cloaking technology to conceal the approach of the Imperial destroyer. Once they enter Earth orbit, Luke has all the stolen earth items shuttled down to his father's secret air base. Everyone bids Luke a farewell. He has other duties to perform and must be back patrolling the galaxy in his capacity as another arm of the galaxy forces. Mr. Vader offers to take Kanan with him to his airbase. In order not to crowd Kanan in his ship, Boba flies his Slave 1 space ship down to Mr. Vader's airbase alone. Mr. Vader has graciously offered to let him store it there for the time being. Mr. Vader and Kanan fly down to Mr. Vader's secret airbase in his Imperial shuttle. Kanan thinks it is quite the fancy ride and is most impressed by it! Much more spacious than Boba's Slave 1 ship. Once they arrive at the airbase, they are greeted by Steve (aka eekdog) and Archimedes Watson. They have driven out to the airbase in one of Steve's sports cars. They are all overjoyed at the success of the mission. Steve can't wait to hug his Porsche. He runs over to it and gives it a very serious once over and is pleased to find no major damage to it. Boba and Kana walk over to Boba's Corvette and give it the once over. Boba is relieved to see the Corvette is still mostly intact as well. Kanan starts to walk around to get in the passenger side when Boba tosses him the keys. 'Kanan, you deserve this. I'm giving you this Vette as an early birthday present!' Kanan almost falls over himself he can't believe it! Everyone is so happy to be alive and have this opportunity to share in the joys of recovery and a resumption of their lives. Steve and Mr. Vader drive off in the Porsche 917 headed back to the night club. Archimedes Watson follows them in Steve's sports car. And last but not least, Boba and Kanan head back to their rented house in the city. Well, it won't be rented for long. With the reward Steve has promised for the recovery of his Porsche, they will be able to buy the mansion. To finally have a home base is something they have dreamed of for a long time. And now to have friends nearby to enjoy it with is the best reward of all.
