Description

Betty Boop has returned in another special edition. Betty has fallen asleep and has a weird dream . The Old Man of the Mountain is a creepy predatory old hermit. As the town people are running down the mountain and outta town Betty is curious and runs up the mountain to his cave. The two being to flirt and sing with each other. When Betty rejects his flirtatious advances he attacks her. He chases her down the mountain. At one point Betty loses her dress. While she gets her clothes back she runs a tree. The nearby animals attack the Old Man and Betty wakes up. The story is based on the 1933 cartoon The Old Man on the Mountain produced by Fleischer Studios. The cartoon as features jazz musician Cab Calloway. The big musical number is "You Gotta Ho-De-Ho." The studio faced complains for the cartoon's overly sexual innuendo.
