Description
This is the same scene as my last post, but this time I used Poser's atmosphere to try to capture the look of Rozalski's images. This technique works better to bring out the fore and mid-ground while fading the distance. It adds a more unreal quality to the passing mech.
I recently came across Jakub Rozalski's 1920+ series of images at ArtStation. The series depicts an incongruous combination of mechanized fighting machines with mostly unimpressed peasants in pastoral settings. This render attempts to capture the flavor of that series.
A heavily armed mechanized fighting machine lumbers by a grassy hillside where a pair of shepherd women tend a small herd of sheep. A lone female solder casually standing in the foreground appears to be there to protect the shepherds.
The mech is the Igorek Enforcer. The soldier is V4 in the Red Army: Regulator uniform with pants from Gunslinger and Touchable BiBi hair. The rifle is from DAZ's Kelly Lodge. The shepherds are V4 in the Morphing Fantasy Dress and M3 Poet's Shirt from DAZ. They're wearing the 70s Headscarf. The environment is Green Hill and Flink's sky. The sheep are from DAZ and the birds from Flock Formations.
Composed and rendered In Poser 11 Pro, with minor post-processing in Corel Photo Paint.

Awesome render!

Wow, this is a great render. I love the POV, depth of field, and just the pure emotion, and story telling in it. Nicely done!
