Nice. UR does very large terrains easily?

Yes. UE can handle terrain as large as your graphic card can handle it. Dependent of the assets there is a LOD system that changes the details the farther away it is. The more RAM your graphics card has the greater the scene can be. My graphics card has 8GB RAM and is a bit older and it works well (I wanted a new one but at the moment they are too expensive thanks to the bitcoin issue). You can paint foliage, grass and so on on terrain and the farther it is it fades away and you can set the distance it does, dependent on your graphics card. Well, it is made for game development so all is adjustable an possible but that makes it a bit more complex and some things more difficult. To set up materials is more complicated than in C4D and other similar apps. So more learning is advisable. But with some tutorials from YT simple materials are possible and with more experience all is open.
Next year UE 5 will be available with a new lighting system called Lumen and a new system that allows more detailed terrain. The first examples are awesome (that means games will become more realistic too).
