Hi everyone:
This short video is more of an opportunity to thank "Radar_rad-dude" AKA Bill
for the amazing way in which he created a story around the recovery of Steve's
AKA "eekdog" Porsche 917 that was stolen by the Alien Collector!
It was totally unscripted and came strictly from the great imagination of his!
I thank him for solving the issue of how I was going to get the car back after
the Alien Collector beamed it up to his ship.
I originally intended for the Alien Collector to take a different car since I really
like this one a lot! Oh well, as it stands...it turned out fantastic with Boba Fett's help!
I also want to thank RodS for his help in aiding in this recovery effort! His help and
the Girls from TNA are awesome!
I have not had a chance to rig the car for animation by using Craft Director Studio
inside Studio Max, but as soon as I do, we'll take it out for a drive!
I didn't animate any bikini girls...just did not have the time. I'll do that on the next
car animation! I did make a render with Steve posing proudly next to his car and
a nice bikini model! It's a good thing Mika is not the jealous type or else he would
be sleeping on the couch or looking for a different place to live!
One thing I did animate was the Porsche engine complete with the authentic
sound of the race car's truly legendary Porsche 917 12 cylinder motor. I created
a Max script to turn and rotate the cooling fan on top of the engine. ( I just need
to figure out how to increase the RPM's as the engine spins and revs faster)
I modified a Porsche 917-30 and a Porsche 917-K and turned them into one
single car. The model did not come with any textures or materials so I made my
own using vintage photographs as a guide!
One thing is for certain...Steve is back in business and will soon be racing this
fantastic car!

This was seriously awesome, Johnny! Looks like Steve and Bill are gonna be doing a few hyperspace jumps in that Porsche pretty soon! The Girls heard that beauty revving up, and came running.... They are pretty fond of things that go fast! LOL They all said to tell you they really loved being even a small part of the recovery, and are ready to help anytime!

Wow!!! Great job and very well done. The noise of this V12 is perfect. We could still see this Porsche at the 24 hours of Le Mans. I remain baba. Thank you for making us live magical moments, I love the cars, and we can see very well that a team is formed with Radar rad dude and Steve. It's great. A big congratulations.
