Very well done! The light is good visual and very meaningful with the candle in the hand of that darkness but it's a pigsty :) I know such a story, one of those old european slave stories, in the scum, to work.. Like that environment in the back.

ooh I love this...I love the ghost in the background, the man in that window---he's a great scary addition to the piece---and a wolf way in the background. Great fog and mist, and a path to that eerie house. It reminds me of the old film "The Old Dark House". As always, you use darkness with total ease: The little light that's here is vivid. And those green eyes (on the woman) are great. Her gesture invites us back with her...Well, with some of your other fans, I'll pass, lady! Not the kinda house I'd like to spend a week in...Great job on this, Steve! A dark, macabre piece. (And she's got a great outfit and boots too.)
