Description

Heavy Shadows Under the light I dream, Under the light heavy shadows, Try to drag me down. Under the light I scream, So many heavy shadows, Trying to drag me down. Are your shoulders strong enough, To hold up the weight of the world? Is your spirit strong enough, To resist the madness of the world? So many heavy shadows, Trying to drag me down. I had a Mandelbulb fractal idea for an album cover and after tossing around a buch of renders I found this one. Name of the band, 'Bridge To Dragon Land' (thanks Len, cool idea) and the name of the first album is Heavy Shadows. Also thanks to Bakapo for getting the song started... ;) Some Mandelbulb3D fun A bit o' PS... Kind of in a heavy mood tonight... 🐉

At first blush, this seems ominous, dark, a bit creepy. But on further examination, the entirety looks like a crown with its center a portal into a light-filled, peaceful place.

I was out back in the desert the other night moon bright like noon casting Heavy Shadows across the dunes. Glowing piercing eyes watching out of the shadows a pair of red ones from the closest dune was approaching slowly making me nervous. I put my hand on my SW.40 and suddenly eyes sprang on me, licking me profusely about the face and ran off barking like a fool as if saying "Tag your It" damn dog one of these days pow to the Moon Zo! to the Moon you mutt...

You're very welcome. I really like this fractal. The light is strong and the shadows are just as strong... which will win; it's a battle for sure. It's also well balanced and well lit around the edges but very mysterious, too. Your poem is deep and emotional and it moved me. Thanks for sharing both poem and image.
