Description
I arrived home this evening after taking a 5000 plus miles road trip and 10 days in motels. some with well known names, but failing miserable for lack of quality. I took lots of pictures and will share some in the coming days. I visited the graves of the old lady's Veteran husband and her son and her niche. her husband died after 2 years of her only son being born. He was a chef in the USA Navy and veteran.
tomorrow I will clean the 4Runner. got so many insects stuck to the front. the first city the temperature was 37 degrees F. I actually brought a winter coat just in case of cold weather.
thanks for all the wishes for a great trip

what a dynamite chevy truck. cool frontal view.

Beautiful capture of this wonderful truck. Regarding insect infestation, it seems that insects are driven by an unknown compulsion to the front of vehicles. Scientists are still investigating this subject.

Your new capture looks simply beautiful, but this is not my kind of car, because I need a podium to climb in - Smile!

Sounds like quite the road trip.. Hope we can get another good trip in one of these days. Last one was in 2019 when we went up to the Portland area.

An incredible find. This is perhaps the oddest vehicle i have seen in a while. Is is a hauler of sorts or is it a passenger vehicle? i would love to see a side view of it.

very interesting truck, great colour too

Very nice pickup. I like the lighting of the image, but I think that you ought to blur the background a little more. I understand that you used a relatively short focal length (32mm), but this could be easily done in Photoshop (expecially CS5 and later which has better selection tools) or Affinity Photo.

This is a stunning and iconic picture of old American-made glory! WOW!
