Born at the tail of the baby boom, James was introduced to drawing and painting at an early age by his parents. Now, nearly 65 years later, he still occasionally sketches and paints but for the most part uses computer graphics programs for image creation. His favorite programs are Blender, GIMP, Poser, and Vue. He currently lives in a small town in New Jersey, sharing his space with two cats and a human female.

Moral of the story: save all your own writing on your computer as well as your own images! It sucks when a site you've invested that much time into basically "disappears" all your hard work, with no opportunity for a backup. Sorry that happened :-( But cool scene!

Yes, that is the moral. Of course, for me the images were the point, the text was just a bit of fluff to give context and tie the images together. It's not like I was writing the next great American novel.
The odd thing was right before I was "disappeared" I got an almost simultaneous set of notifications about images being deleted for TOS violations. Many of the images were more than a year old. All were marked mature, strict and tagged as to why I thought they were mature (generally violence and/or nudity). I'm going to state, and you'll have to my word for it, that none were more violent or revealing than the average Game of Thrones episode. You'll also have to take my word that violence and nudity wasn't gratuitous, it was in the context of a story, and that it wasn't fetish related (but I suppose there are some folks that can make a fetish out of anything).
I suppose if I ever go in for stories again, I'll go the self-publishing route,
