La galère, vous dis-je ! La galère ! Mon PC n'a manifestement pas supporté trois mises-à-jour (Firefox, Windows 10 et NVidia) et a planté six fois cette fin-de-semaine ! J'ai finalement trouvé un outil Microsoft que l'on ne trouve d'aileurs plus chez eux !!! et qui s'appelle Software Repair Tool...vous pourriez en avoir besoin !
Quant à Daz Studio qui semble ne pas aimer vraiment les nouveautés NVidia, il a planté quatre fois ! Heureusement que je suis prudent et que je sauvegarde mes images toutes les 5 minutes ! Cette image aussi a été un peu compliquée : 5 rendus (5 calques Photoshop) mais, pour des raisons incompréhensibles -par moi, en tout cas- les rendus des deux autos (la bleue et la rouge mises l'une sur l'autre) n'étaient pas parfaitement identiques, sans que j'aie rien changé !
Et le temps est exécrable !!!
Je vous rassure, j'ai quand même pris plaisir à faire cette image avec cette belle auto de 3DClassics (bientôt en format Daz).

It' was hell on earth, I tell you ! Hell on earth ! My PC obviously did not support three updates (Firefox, Windows 10 and NVidia) and crashed six times this weekend ! I finally found a Microsoft tool that you can't find anymore at Microsoft !!! and it's called "Software Repair Tool"...you might need it !
As for Daz Studio which seems to not really like the NVidia updates, it crashed four times ! Fortunately I'm careful and I save my images every 5 minutes ! This image was also a bit complicated: 5 renderings (5 Photoshop layers) but, for reasons that are incomprehensible -to me, at least- the renderings of the two cars (the blue one and the red one put on top of each other) were not perfectly identical...but I didn't change anything !
And the weather is miserable !!!
But I still enjoyed making this picture with this beautiful 3DClassics'car (soon in Daz format).

pas garagistes du tout , mais ces gars là c'est les rois du montage démontage , le top , bon par contre après ta voiture tu l'as au quatres coins du monde , pas grave tu verras du pays , bien bel humour , sur une situation qui pourrait être gênante , avec autant d’objet (qu'elle patience) dans la scène , mon pc me dit "niet"

Bon, l'humeur n'est pas franchement à la rigolade dans cet atelier, et je suis admiratif de toutes les astuces que tu as trouvées pour donner cette impression d'intense activité maffieuse à cette composition; je conseillerais d'ailleurs vivement au visiteur qui se gratte la nuque d'éviter de poser une deuxième question désobligeante à ces trois lascars. Un talent fou et quel résultat, l'ami alpin !

Even with all the computer problems you had to deal with...it turned out awesome! This scene looks like a chop chop shop where cars are taken apart after they have been freshly stolen from their respective owners! Sometimes all it takes just a change of serial numbers and a new paint job...but most of the time the car gets dismantled piece by piece! I like the blue California license plates, as its something a car collector is always looking for in a car!! Well done! :-)

Ah, le "maquillage" à l'ancienne! Il paraît que moult berlines de luxe volées par chez nous se retrouvent dans des pays plus ou moins "folkloriques" où la corruption et la "magouille" sont reines. Certains pays de l'Europe de l'Est sont connus pour ça. Ton travail sur la "peinture" (PhotoShop?) est très réaliste!

You did a really superb job creating this fine image! I am sorry to hear of your computer problems! I hope you get them sorted out and fixed so you can continue creating these superb works of art! Great humor here but if the old guy is lucky, he will get out of there pronto before they decide they don't want any witness to their 'crime(?)' As to why this image got targeted by the censor gestapo, I can't see anything in it that should have activated their radar! Very mysterious! I'm glad you got it back and reposted! Would have been a serious crime not to be able to view this fine work! Bravo and many fine praises from me to you on this one!!!

Well, it brings a broad smile, even if its production led to all sorts of issues, I also saw that Rendo put this on hold for some reason, most odd of them considering all the private parts that others post. I shall be holding off upgrading my Mac OS to Monterey for the very reasons you mention, too many things not working with new stuff, Big Sur is bad enough... Great work on getting the spray effects on the car, looks really good, as does the whole image, and your humour brightens the day :)

Désolée d'apprendre tous les soucis que tu as eu avec les mises à jour!! C'est pas vraiment étonnant vu le nombre auquel on se voit confrontés chaque semaine. Il est impossible qu'ils se soient concertés et boum: gros pétard sur PC.
Un de mes PC n'a jamais réussi à installer le big update de 2020. Il reste joyeusement à 99% et est donc devenu inutilisable alors que c'était celui avec lequel je fesais mes post.
Bon, ces gars là, j'en aurais besoin pour ma bagnole ;-) Un peu de peinture neuve lui ferait du bien, quoique je me demande si il n'y a pas comme un petit (ou grand) risque qu'elle se retrouve à la une pour cambriolage de banque ou autre trafficotage ;-)

Ehhh ! Que je suis contente que ton image soit publiée sur Rendo ! C'est quoi le problème avec elle? Je ne vois rien de choquant : pas de violence, pas de "sexe", débridé ou non, même pas de nudité (à moins que le chouilla de tatouage visible dans le dos du "mécanicien" n'ait excité une personne du staff !) Bon, franchement, elle est très réussie et très rigolote, et tant pis pour ceux qui n'ont pas le sens de l'humour !. Pour le moment, ma voiture va bien : elle a été révisée il y a moins de 2 mois, donc j'espère ne pas avoir à faire à cet atelier de malfaiteurs dans l'immédiat ! Continue de nous régaler avec tes images ! Bonne journée

L'image du 7 mis en ligne le 11. Tout va bien puisqu'il faut 4 jours pour décidé que le retrait n'était pas justifié.... Cette image mérite un sous-titre : "la bétise des uns fait le malheur des autres"

My result is that I have a potentially life ending condition, ... BUT ...There are good chances for a moderate to full recovery. That means many more years of seeing your wonderful art. Funny image! Sorry about the computer troubles. I am in the process of gradually upgrading my operating system. When I hit one that doesn't play well with my main apps, I will go back one step and stop.

Updates can be scary, Firefox updates, a year or two ago were a nightmare on my system. Windows being the worst, obviously. For N'vidia I never use the latest, Daz Studio, like you said, is picky.

I admire your perseverance, that sort of thing drives me nuts! I too am starting to save every few minutes due to DAZ and iray playing havoc with my pc....
