About as natural as could be, a very rare (and potentially dangerous) coupling that feels right as rain. It's just right. With Barb, I like the association with the old song (the lion sleeps tonight)---it suggests that maybe the lion is dreaming that woman, or vice versa...or just that the lion is lost in a sleep so tranquil, it's totally at home with that woman resting on its upper body.
I don't know how these are done, but from your credits it looks like the grass is separate from the lion, and you chose just the right textures and tone to match the lion's colors and hair. The woman fits-in perfectly---she looks like a young movie star, and I love her pink---an unexpected hue in all these amber-gold-browns. And her wrist-warmer/wrist-lets (I don't know the name!) are very stylish, and she has a bow like she's making a fashion statement---which is fine with the lion. Instead of wearing a lion trainer's outift---safari jacket with timberland boots, etc---she's dressed like a teen or young 20-something out with her best friends. Love the coupling. Another of your pieces that could be seen several ways, and is totally natural with it all, feeling completely right. I hope the heatwave isn't doing you and your mom in, (we're soooooo lucky that the lake is cooling us down---you want some of our air? I'll fedex you some). And I hope you're well overall.
